Our charity works with high poverty preschool and elementary schools in Northern Kentucky (Covington, Erlanger, Elsmere, and Florence) to provide students with the basic necessities to include gently used clean well-fitted clothing, new underwear, new socks, new gym shoes and hygiene items. The students are identified by their administrators, teachers, counselors, homeless coordinators or FRC (family resource coordinators) as a student needing a little extra assistance to feel confident, clean and cared for by their community. When a request is received, our volunteer shops for the child based on their style and color preferences, size and season of clothing needed. The bag is prepared with a great deal of respect for the individual child then delivered on Monday mornings directly to the school office. This assures the child receives the items directly and there are no transportation barriers for the parent/guardian.
